Na, why waste another new truck on a short timer...besides, I have spoken to 2 '17 drivers with the auto...both have been in the shop getting the ecm reprogrammed more than once. The 1st guy said the only way to get up to speed in a reasonable amount of time is to shift in manual mode because it upshifts waaaaay to early, the other said he has the opposite happen, the #### thing winds way too high before shifting. Plus both said they are having electrical issues as well. Sorry, in my opinion Peterbilt with a Paccar is just the same as an International with a Maxxforce, just cost more to buy and looks better behind the hook or on a shop's lot.

Wow I have a 17 and while I had additional functionality turned on in the transmission, the truck has been rock solid and us a blast to drive.

Yeah as an EPIQ the acceleration is slow off the line and yeah pushing buttons does help, really not that big a deal. In a perfect world we'd have their euro tranny, but Pete's got to keep Eaton happy so there you go.

They offered and even as a short timer who cares, try something new and when ya go you go, truck still goes back in the pool. But hopefully your truck will be done soon, I agree with @ncmickey stay on Pete yourself, squeaky wheel and all...

Yeah, I saw a Youtube video on Volvo's Euro dual clutch auto, definitely a premo piece of equipment, not sure if US truck makers will ever get it. But I bet it has a premo price tag as well.

I just don't want to dirty a new truck. As a driver, it's always a pleasure when they hand you the keys to a NEW, never been driven, truck. I just don't need to drive another new truck seeing as how I know I an headed for the exit. Just a personal choice...let the new guy or the driver who has been driving an older truck have a shot at the new stuff.

My truck is done and waiting for me to come back and pick up. Now the tricky part...getting back to Fargo. With people being on vacation and the computer issue of the week, it will most likely be another week before I get there...but I have sent the request for Fargo in.

Just saw my updated statistics...my new cpm drops a penny per mile. I know that isn't a lot, but on a 10k month, it's another $100 gross I don't have. Let's just say...my rants of the last 4 month can be re-read because honestly...I have absolutely nothing positive to say...especially anything positive about "Magnum" right now.

Why would it go down if your mileage went up? Did Chad tell you he was taking a penny?

My mpg went up, my average monthly miles went down, below 10k before any ghost miles added.
