    More than few times I have seen trucks come after me and leave before. All kinds of reasons, maybe their hours are more suited to available loads or they need to head in a certain direction. It could be down to their managers but no way of knowing.

    Is it a drop?. Some DCs I just ignore the time and date and try my luck getting rid of it.

    I don't do anything special, I run at night/early morning to maximize mph and I try to get tbere as quickly as possible in the hopes I can unload early.

    I tried the QC and calling angle but I don't feel that has made much of an impact.

    That plus the last time I called to see if there was anything I got the impression my call was unwanted so now I don't chase loads. Whatever I get and whenever I get it I try to be satisfied and not get worked up about wasted time.

    That approach is much easier on my disposition and I won't run the risk of pissing anyone off.
