Saw a Gordon truck with the letters taken off and replaced with Heartland did that just recently change or has the name been changed on all the old trucks or is Heartland buying blue trucks and putting Heartland on them?

From what I understand they've also change the name on the Lathrop California terminal from Gordon to Heartland as well now

I heard they still had some new blue trucks contracted for purchase so they put the heartland stickers on them. I have seen them as well in SoCal. Have not been up to In and Out Burger in Lathrop recently, but next time I do go I will drive down the street and take a look.

You will see pretty much every iteration now. I saw another of the totally red trucks with the Gordon logo yesterday, but I guess soon enough all blue trucks will have the Heartland logo as will all the reds and whites.

When I worked for PTL, I learned the reason they became an employee-owned company is the Paschall CEO didn't want to have the company sold and moved out of Murray when he retires. The Gordons could have done that and their legacy would have been safe. But, like Bret Favre at the end of his storied career, he went for the big bucks and now here we are, talking bad.

Both their legacies have been spoiled because of greed.

That probably happened early on, just like the one in Pontoon Beach.

The other sad change I've started to see is the change from ConWay to XPOLogistics. I've seen a number of the ConWay Truckload trucks with their door logo covered with paper XPO information. #sad

The main obstacle to gti going esop was a small matter of $200 million in debt

I drive for Heartland. Since they bought gti they have been slowly integrating the 2 companies rather than do it overnight to make it easier on the office folks and aviod a mass exodus of Gordon drivers. About a month ago they announced they would be officially 1 company and gti drivers would loose their decals, the final nail in the coffin really. I think august 15th is the deadline
