I'm sure his cheque from PP is already in the mail... he seems to be their hardest working employee.

Why? Because I'm not rushing to the side of one guy that didn't have a clue and ended up with a bad experience? What of the countless others for over thirty years have never had a problem with their engines? I'm not defending pp any more than i would any company with a proven track record. Well maybe a little more due to the fact I've known the guy for thirty years and have seen about fifty of his engine builds up close. A little searching in my posting history will show i rarely take some random drivers side on any issue. If being willing to look at these things from all angles instead of always jumping to bash some company makes me a troll then put me on ignore and you won't ever have to read my trolling posts again.

No, it's because you're in denial of what is advertised, by PP as to what happened. Bruce and KR teamed up to make a signature glider. Before it was built, they had a buyer for it. This truck was to have every bell and whistle that would cause it to get better mileage, including microblue in the motor, which was a crate motor and PP's website, KR's website and track that truck as well as microblue DOCUMENTED!!!

Now you come along, and say "maybe they weren't charged for microblue"!

Ok, genius, why did they pull the motor apart, and why did PP talk about putting microblue in the engine, trans and rear end, after the truck was delivered, when they didn't do it, and it was one of the tricks to get this high fuel mileage?
That is why posters here think you are a paid shill for PP!

You are cherry picking one thing i said at the beginning of our discussion. If pp has said in print or public they installed the micro blue why not just put a link supporting that in your first response to me instead of debating several different things for two days? I offered up that one plausible explanation along with a few others, and I've flat out said a couple times i did not follow krs radio show talking about this truck. If you have more info about the build please share it. So far you have only shared jeffs facebook page trackthistruck, and I'm sorry but i cant consider things said on Facebook by an individual as proof of what was transpiring in the process of building the engine.

And please bean, leave the insults out of it. For the few years we have each been posting on this site we have shown mutual respect for each other and been nothing but civil. No need to get frustrated and insult just because we don't see eye to eye on this one thread.

I decided to look at all the pictures and documentation on the truck build. It's all there stating what was part of the MB process. Just about everything that could be MB was.

I apologize for insulting you. You have been obstinate on these 2 issues, which I feel affects your decision to place blame at the hand of the operator.

Maybe my definition of "glider dealer" is different than yours, but if I go in and want to buy a completed glider, and the person says, "ok, that will be $X.XX". that is a dealer, no matter if they say "let's go pick a finished truck out" or "let's go find a glider in the yard, and we'll build it" or "we don't stock gliders, let's go to the website, and order 1".
If they say "go to the dealer and buy a glider, and we'll install the components", that is not a dealer. Based on this, PP, if they are not currently a dealer, they were when this truck was built.

The reason that I have been posting Jeff's Facebook is they stopped posting 1 year ago, and all they posted was about the truck. Let's Truck has been active since, and they post everything, so it was easier to find it at track that truck.

Here is a post from Let's Truck testifying that microblue was to be installed in the engine.

@bean Jr i think a good part of the problem is that we have been debating several different things at once instead of taking them one at a time. We've got the bearings, the dealer issue, kr issue, and others going all at once. The one thing i think we are in agreement on is this while truck was krs baby and pushed by him to further his agenda at ever opportunity. Where we start having differences is the role in which pp was involved. Their role in the process is important to me because that defines their expected level of support after project completion. That's the reason the debate of if they are a dealer is important. A dealer would be expected to be the middle man in the event of having to go after the manufacturer of individual parts (the turbo clamp for example), a shop that did the work wouldn't be expected to get involved in that.

Anyway, let's try to stick to a specific topic and see if we can communicate our individual stances better.

The worst thing Bruce did was put his reputation in limbo by crawling into bed with KR, all for the American dollar. KR preached never change your oil. Bruce was a dealer for the spinner years ago yet he preached 10,000 to 12,000 mile changes.

As you listened to KR on the radio he would say lug it to 11 10 9 you can't hurt an electronic engine. Bruce always always said, if there was no more throttle response then grab another gear.

Sweet spot, KR is just nuts on this, 1100RPM sweet spot, start up cabbage, 80000 pounds, just lug it up the hill. It's all good It's electronic. This went against everything Bruce believed in.

I have no idea what happened to the micro blue, but this marriage between Bruce and KR is the reason many of us believe Bruce has lost his reputation and I equate that reputation equal to Cat before the SDP
