Its been a while since being up that way. It might be no trucks over 10ft wide not 10ft long.. Most interstates those signs are for wide load or over size trucks..

Believe he meant 10 tons, not 10 feet.

There's a bridge that's limited to ten tons on I-95 in Providence, I don't usually run that way but it's north of I-195. My friend tells me that a driver from his company got a hefty fine for crossing it.

Ivgn great link, and if i read it correctly i can run 95n to exit 25 then i MUST exit, or i can at least run it up till the last exit before the bridge,
i guess what the one problem is that i am not an " olde timer " i dont do map books everyday, i use my gps being that i am not givin direction from disp.
** side note :
I always compare the route my gps gives me with my map book, just to " compare notes " 9 out of 10 times my gps sends me the way my map would say to go. however i just always use my gps and listen to what she has to say to me, and its the ONLY time ill listen to a female giving me directions ** -
When you run into a problem like this you tell dispatch that they need to find a legal route in order for you to deliver. If you receive a ticket while taking that route then company also takes responsibility in paying that ticket... I done that 1 or twice when running into a bridge or section of road I was not allowed onto...
This one factory the only way you could get to it was down this single road that dead needed into this factor.. The road had 2 big "no truck" signs????? I simply called and told them that the road I was told to go down was not permissible for trucks.. They called the company and the company said trucks do it all the time.. Dispatch called me and told me "trucks do it all the time" I said don't mean to be a jerk but you need to take responsibility if I get a ticket and I need that sent on the qualcom...
Just be nice about it and let them know that you are trying you best to get there but do not want to break any laws in doing so.... -
Yeah its down to 18,000 now & if you go over the bridge w/over 18K its going to cost you 3,000 bucks.
