And that is why I bought a new glider with a pre-emission engine. I didn't have to play with someone else's specs or problem child and I got the best overall value for my dollar. California is a non-issue. I gave up on CA the last century. Haven't run west of I-25 this century. Truck has been very reliable and a very low cost per mile to operate. There are alternatives to buying a new emission truck or settling for someone else's view of how a truck should be spec'd and playing a fix it up game. All the benefits of new with warranties, without hassles of emissions junk, a million sensors, etc.

Been a minute since I've been on here.. Would like to say thanks to all you guys for the input.. Very appreciated..
New question - Applied, about going on a month ago now, for pre-qual.. Called several times asking what the status was, keep getting told they are waiting for info, MVR etc.. Does this normally take a month or more to get an OK from this company? BTW, not likely there is an issue as I've kept my record clean for a while now.. If there was a problem I'm sure I would have gotten a "no dice" by now.. Surprised it's gone this long.. -

My theory is that they do it so that the people who give up easy will do just that. Maybe they figure if you are pushy about it you'll come on board and be an earner...for both you and them.
Rattlehead808 Thanks this. -
