Wish I could help but I stay out for at least 6-8 weeks at a time and just occasionally take a long 34 in a cool town to unwind a bit. I believe I saw something about weekly hometime but I can't imagine you'd make much mileage wise unless you lived in a great freight area. Good luck

Yup talked to a recruiter . They have a 5 day on 2 day off program and of course they have out 14 back home 2 .

Check out Roehl, they have home time programs.

My husband drives for USA, though they say you are out for 5 and home for 2 its not always the case. Its never a guarantee that you will be home for your 34 hour reset. And depending on your dispatch they can get kind of pissed if you take your reset at home and not sit at the yard or at your next drop. My husband was lucky enough to come straight out of training and be assigned to a dedicated route, but his loads and unloads change every week so his miles vary. Last week he drove from terre haute , in up to Chicago for three drops, then back to terre haute then back up to Chicago then he backhauled home for his reset. Then this week he went to wisconsin to terre haute to michigan then down to georgia where due to his hours he will have to sit in his truck for his reset and not come home.
Home time is never guaranteed its all situational especially if you get a dedicated route. It also depends on hours, traffic, weather, accidents, and if they take longer to unload or load your trailer.
Also while my husband was on his last week with his trainor he was already set up to get a dedicated route with a promise of .49 cpm. But in the end he only received .34cpm then after his 90 days will go up to .41cpm.
Im not entirely sure how the general freight home time works but my understanding is you are home weekly but are extremely lucky to get 1500-1800 miles as a new hire. But paywise they start a new hire out at .25cpm until their 90 day is up then it goes up a few cents every year with the company.danny23tx Thanks this. -
Thx for the info . USA has my app and they said I am good to go . For now they are my backup choice , I am working on a Local trucking gig that's out 3-4 days at a time and come back to my home town at least once a week to overnight in my own bed with weekends off . One way or the other I will pay my dues in the trucking world .
