    I'm a newer owner operator and I'm looking for advice on how to get a route that will take me out about 4 hours and bring me back the same day. Anyone fall into this scenario that can offer their 2 cents?

    Some petroleum carriers lease on owner ops. This type of work often fits this category. Most likely need a heavier spec tractor though as they tend to run heavy. Rates are a bit on the soft side

    Your best bet is to-go container that way you'll be around Milwaukee Wisconsin Chicago Illinois and the west side of Michigan you can always get back to Wisconsin within like 4 or 5 hours you know those containers they come off the boats and all three these states are around Lake Michigan
