And somewhere, some bleeder will be offended. "But Six, he could have been a new driver. Cut him some slack."

Slacking is what got him hurt. If you were a new driver and had something on your trailer that could hit like a WMD, how would you secure it? With every chain in the headache rack.

 

A New Haven TV Station reports that the driver of the flatbed was taken to a local hospital and is being treated.....doesn't sound life threating

That fellow dodged one for sure

 

This guy came through the truck stop the other day. Both chains pulling back, and a strap with no edge protection on the bucket.

 

Even better than pulling both ways it's the same chain hooked to the front and rear.

 

Maybe he has the other side pulling the other direction. And I'm pretty sure you can see a cut in that strap from the bucket already
