So I've had a camera in my truck for about a month now.
I just went in to the DriverCam section on the Swift website to see what was there.
In the past month there was one reported video.
It showed me in a docking maneuver without my seat belt on.
It was triggered by a pothole or something that shook the truck.
That was on 08-28, so I must have been picking up in Kansas City.
No one called me about it, and the status shows as resolved.
I've never seen the red light come on to indicate an event has been saved and sent, and I've been on some pretty bumpy roads and lots.
I guess it got sent to Swift because I didn't have my seat belt on at the time. Understandable.
Also rare, because I usually buckle up as my first move even if I am in a lot.

same thing happen at sysco. They want people to use their seat belt while backing up, and cameras caught a bunch of people not wearing them. I never worn mind while backing, i can't look out the window with them on and i trust my eyes than mirrors.
free spirited1 and G13Tomcat Thank this. -
Having the seat belt on while backing doesn't bother me. It really doesn't restrict me that much.
I know a lot of people hate it.
Perhaps that is why nothing was said about it, even at Swift.G13Tomcat Thanks this. -
Now do you believe they are watching you whenever they want red light green light doesn't matter. That is way too nanny for a grown *** man to be seatbelt nitpicked over a 1/2 mile per hour backing maneuver.

Can you only view your recordings or are all on the site and yours was the only one on the site?

Meaning...
A criteria that Swift set for an alert - no seat belt, probably - caused the observing company to forward the video.
Then Swift decided it was NOT a safety issue and did nothing more.
How is that a bad thing?
And red light green light?
I've just never happened to be looking at the camera when it sent something. Nothing more.
And if I am concentrating on my DRIVING instead of the camera, I probably never will see a red light.
That event was forwarded to Swift because a bump set the alert. I saw it in the video. I bounced pretty well.
That was the only event that was sent in the past month, and since I've had a camera.TROOPER to TRUCKER Thanks this. -
It's unfortunate that I can't download the video or provide a link to it.
Showing what actually set off the event would be nice.TROOPER to TRUCKER Thanks this. -
You can try right-clicking on the link and choosing Save Link Target...or something like that, depends on browser. If it's in a weird format, VLC player will probably play it anyway, free download.
Friday and Moosetek13 Thank this. -
Aren't you a lease op or am I mistaken?
I was under the impression they weren't putting cameras in lease trucks when I was there.
