I was in Lancaster today but I didn't get DEF.
Mainly because I will be in Laredo soon, and I will fill up there.
My first response to the restriction was to defy it. But when I learned what Swift pays for DEF compared to what is charged at the pump, I understood.
I won't go out of my way to get DEF at a terminal, but I will try to help Swift by filling at a terminal whenever I can.
Limiting DEF at truck stops.

Does a shop worker still need to come out to the def pump and unlock it, and sign you out for it? Or is it on the pump now? If it's still the former, I would never get def at a terminal.

plant Thanks this.

Phoenix and Memphis I know has separate. I remember that Columbus, which only when the attendant on duty along with el paso and okc, certain hours

Laredo has DEF in one fuel lane, if I remember correctly.
Not sure if we can pump it ourselves, but it is always open with people there. -
I top the def off every time I fuel. It's usually not more than a quarter tank down. So round about 5 gallons is all I usually need. -
The last two times I attempted to get DEF at a terminal, the hose was locked and nobody around to unlock it. Then again, it was at 3 AM or so. If they want me to go out of my way to get DEF at the terminal, it has to be available 24/7.
I got DEF last night at Petro. I was allowed 10.000 gallons. -
The last 2 times I got DEF at a truck stop it allowed 10 gallons as well.

10 gallons is plenty since most of the tanks are only 14-16 gallons

Now I refill after the first light goes out, usually takes about 7 gallons. Haven't had an issue yet. I refuse to get DEF or fuel at any terminal, unless I'm really low and I won't be going near a truck stop to get fuel there. Like I said, I never fuel up at a terminal.
