There's a oldtimer i know who drove both the CL 9000 and the equivalent hood version.
    He prefers the COE.

I think the sleeper is that low box at the very back of the cab?

One of my instructors had a great story about a COE that he was teaming in back in the 60's or 70's.

He was sitting there scooting along and hit hits some type of wild cat about the size of a small lab. His partner was sleeping(or passed out) in some compartment outside the cab and it could only be opened from the outside. So he stops, gets out and picks up the critter and puts in into the comparent with his sleeping buddy, figuring hes skin it when he got home.
Fast forward a couple of hours, he pulls into a truckstop for coffee and fuel and he hears seven kinds of hell coming from the box. Turns out the Cat was only knocked out and woke up,not in the best of moods, inside a compartment with fella that refused to see the humor of his situation.
After he finally got the latches undone and the door open, the wildcat shoots out like a bullet and disappears across the parking lot. Poor fella crawls out with his hair sticking on end, covered in scratches and nips, and a couple spots where the darn thing pooped on him. Neither said a word to each other, but later on, the one who was smiling had a shiner, but the who was glaring didnt. Lol still one of my favorite stories.

I've heard that story with several different animals, never a wildcat, though.

Cool truck, although, I made a pact with myself, never stand on the steer tire to get in a truck again!

Hi NM, yeah, that was the answer to the question nobody asked. That IS the sleeper behind what passes for a cab. I tell ya', I'd go nuts in a cab like that. I'd be interested in knowing how that truck gives more load capacity. Can't be that much lighter. And what's with the front drive axle singled out, Must be a single screw with a tag. BTW, on a recent road trip, I see a lot of trucks are single screw with a tag. I always wondered why you needed 2 drive axles for just running down the road.
