@JPenn I'm going in to talk to Len in person, I know they desperately need drivers so I'm going to lay it all out on the table and see if he takes the bait. Out of all their 2 driver runs I did the hardest one and lasted longer than anyone else did on that run besides my friend who trained me. 199, 399, 599 IDK if that was a run when you were there. NYC turn and burn 1500 avg case count 9-10 stops. Was taking home avg 1000wk sometimes more if we had a back haul. This was one of my bigger checks. With the raises given out I should be able to take home 1125 at least working 60hr week, and I have the option to do a $175 10 hr line haul for extra work if I want.
The Other condition I'm bringing up is make me a trainer after 3 months. I got along with everyone I worked with and they will all vouch for me that I'll be real thorough. That's Like an extra 250 a week. I don't plan on staying more than 2 years, just enough to buy a truck and trailer
Thinking about going back to my old food gig

What was on that run? I did NYC for my training there...Boston Markets in Brooklyn & Queens, Popeyes in the Bronx and the Quiznos in Stewart airport on the way home. 6 days a week, Barry Burford ran that run when I was there.

@JPenn No more Quiznos, boston market or sonic. Now its wendy's, popeyes, 5 guys, arby's and checkers which suck the most.
My nyc was wendys on b-way and 165th, head to east harlem on 125th for 2 more wendys, run down 2nd to hells kitchen and then go across the st on 33rd and 5th by the empire st. Head over to Roc center on 48th, take 2-3hr nap and do a wendy's underground at the FOX news building. 9am fight your way to jfk service center then hit up Guy R Brewer for a popeyes and finally hunts point for a popeyes. Sometimes a popeyes in mott haven and flatbush -
I always liked doing Wendys...Arbys wasn't bad usually either. Boston Market was OK if you didn't count the raw chicken in cardboard boxes, soaked with juice. Holy salmonella. Most of the stuff I did was key drop, which was always entertaining at the places that changed their alarm codes weekly and forgot to forward them along. Got to see quite a bit of the Paramus NJ police that way. After a while they stopped coming if the alarm went off and the truck was in the parking lot of the Boston Market when they drove past.
If that NYC run was a run when I was there, I never went on it. I've done the Flatbush Ave Popeyes, though, covering another run.Mike2633 Thanks this. -
