.80 isn't averaging even if you went in at 4
Your literally getting paid one way and paying to haul that.80
You seem to have gotten a little tipsy on that company/ industry koolaid that has gotten so many drivers to bring the term AVERAGING to a all time low
    That is what's unfortunate.
By they way I'm never focused on one load
An example of true averaging would be
    3.00 in 2.00 or 1.75 or even 1.50 out

    It was leaving the Northeast.
Leaving the Northeast never pays anything, point is to go in with a load that pays a lot of money if you do go in knowing that coming out never pays anything.

Whatever if people can't understand these simple things about lanes at this point I ain't even gonna try anymore.
I'll just go back to making lots of money and leave this topic alone.

By my calculations, he's averaging $1.73/mile.
    Load 1 800 miles @ $2.10 = $1,680( I'm just guessing 800 miles.)
    Load 2 500 @ $.80 = $400
    Load 3 520 @ $2.05 = $1,066
    Total revenue $3,146 / 1,820 miles = $1.73 mile
    ( Actually $1.7285)

    Microphone drop!

I learned something new today leaving the northeast for zero cpm will make you more than leaving for 80 cpm

Sorry, I actually used math before responding, it's an unusual concept.

Some guys seem to think your paying $.40/mile for all miles to your co-driver....... That's not how it works.

Ya and i don't leave for 80 cpm. I bounce first. Even a drop and hook doesn't make it worth the time. Ever. Running enjoy you burn less fuel. Less wear. And get to the good load faster.

I understand lanes very well it's why I stopped going to to the NE on Schneiders board years ago .
At one time you could easily bunny hop out at an actual decent rate.
Now you have to pay to haul that freight out

Nothing wrong with you Northeast, just have to NOT go in unless it pays a lot.
