So in responding to all.... this.

When I said you wouldnt understand unless you ran team board... what I mean by that is this.
Yes when I ran the solo board I would NEVER ever take cheap freight out of the Northeast.
I would run regional within the Northeast until something paid decent to get out, or found a way to connect a few good paying short loads to get me out or as you said take a short deadhead out vs taking those terrible long .80 loads out.
So yeah I get that and use to do those very things and avoided so called "cheap freight".

Here's the thing for those with no experience on team board... you cannot do any of those things.
There are no Northeast regional loads or short loads around there.
Nor can you take a short deadhead to get to a better area.
On the team board everything leaving the Northeast is a min of 500 miles leaving it.
If you deadhead out that would mean either deadheading to Columbus or Charlotte... which pretty much means a 400 mile deadhead min.
You cannot do things on the team board like you can on the solo board.
That's what I meant by if you were on the team board you'd understand.

@Cledus Snow as far as I know you've only been on the team board so I doubt you understand all that can be done different if you were on the solo board.
Secondly if that load to Boston paid $2.74 then the trip including the .80 might have been worth it then wouldnt it?
Everybody bashes the cheap freight out of the Northeast but if you GET a load that pays a sheet lot going in then it makes it all worth it.
Same areas pay horrible coming out, doesn't mean to never ever go because of that. A load might pay enough going in to make up the difference.

As far as grossing "$10,400" goes, I never said that. Let me repost what I said being you seemed to miss it.

I was referring to what could have been.
There was a string of 3 loads going into the Northeast, leaving to the Northeast then going to Iowa.
I was about to book all 3 loads which would have put my week at $10,080 for the week BUT the load leaving the Northeast somebody grabbed so I didn't book any of them.
    Haven't booked anything since then.
Soo once I deliver this afternoon I'll be at $7,068 so far this pay week. Don't know what I'm going to do next.
Bare in mind I don't know how you run on team but so far my truck has been averaging over 1000 miles per day.
There's no embellishing here, I can post all the work I've done just as Ive done in the past multiple times when I was called out.

However yes I will agree the team board sucks. Teams can do ALL loads so Schneider should let team pick from the team and solo board but I guess that makes too much sense. I am just doing this because I can make more money than I did solo even with the crappy team board.

    Easy there Ritchie Rich.
Anyone reading anything here should take it with a grain of salt..that's what I was aiming for.
Baiters and haters..make the world somewhat interesting at times.
But in the end should we care?!
I for one say no..no empathy no regret.

Wow...I'm amazed at some of the logic used to justify paying to deadhead out of an area..when there's actually paying freight to get out. Sure it may only be $.80. But it's $.80 more than you had before. As long as your average for the week meets your needs, who cares?

Man listen I'm great with numbers so I'm thinking... Even if your truck grosses let's be nice and say 7500-8000 for the week.. Minus trk payment, fuel, and if your codriver is half way smart he or she would want half of the profit being it's an equal amount of time driving.. So with that being said I don't how you're doing better than you were when you were running solo per the stats you gave up Whipper.. Because even at Prime the trainer's there only making 2500 after paying there students.. And that's students.. codriver or team driver I need a bigger piece of the profit so I'm just wondering hmmmm...

Half the profit for the team driver? when I'm the one with all the risk running and paying for the truck? lol, come on that company does that? Driver is getting paid fairly per week similar to what a good company would pay. I'll leave it at that.
