Here's what I see... Truck grosses 7000 minus fuel 2000 truck payment MMA etc 1200 and a smart co driver would want no less than 1200 for his services for the week so that leaves you with 2600... if my memory serves me correctly that's what u said you were doing solo..soooo what's the upside

heres what I see, his employee doesn't see any of financials. not what they pay , none of it. because the reality is he is a company driver. has no real say in what the truck does or where it goes. just wants his check on time.
he said he HIRED a driver, not that he took on a business partner.
am I wrong in that assessment? -

PoleCrusher Thanks this.

Or cs makes a mistake am live load not dh and the good load you took the .80 cpm to get to gets pulled.
I understand averages but sometimes it's cheaper to deadhead than pay to pull.PoleCrusher, BoostedTeg, spyder7723 and 2 others Thank this. -
If he's approved to drive for SNI he'll want more.
If you think the team board light on freight keep bragging about your revenue and you'll have even more company to join you same as it happened on solo board.gentleroger and driverdriver Thank this. -
Doesnt make sense to me.. it is a choice afterall.
If I wanted to team long term I wouldnt do it here. Best you could do here is maybe $1.45 if your lucky.
I planned on $1.30 all miles.
Team board sucks, everybody knows this. Schneider could make it better easily but they don't. -
Sorry whipper I misunderstood your gross $$. And if a load paid $2.74, it would depend on how many miles. Too many times I've seen great paying loads gross like $1500-1800. I wouldn't go into New England for that.
I know you run a lot harder than I do. I like to sleep in a non moving truck at times. No need to post screen shots, grossing $7k is relatively easy if you want to run that hard.
But in order to gross over $10k would be a super rare event in which the moon and stars all lined up perfectly. And if that happens I suggest you also play the lottery that day.
The ability to gross $10k would not be a problem if they combined the boards like you said. I don't want the boards combined as much as more shorter loads to connect to the bigger ones. I have never once delivered and picked up at the same customer. Not once. All of the loads leaving are for solo drivers so dead head is a major part of the team board.
I have 65k miles on my truck now and am going to the north west after Michigan and will be at 70k in a few days. I got this truck June 13....twice the work, twice the maintenance costs, for the same pay as a solo. I'll be switching over to solo this winter some time.freightwipper Thanks this. -

Sounds like FW found a way to shorten his lease term on his 680 so he can move on sooner.
Good luck
