Fire truck bumps pressure up between 150 and 300psi. Pretty sure that can support more then a few loaded trucks stacked on top of one another.

That stinger is awfully low to the ground -- aside from cutting off water vital to a firefighter, I'd be afraid it would cut right through and leave a charged hosed whipping around beating up people and equipment.

Not attacking you specifically, but most people that say this have never experienced a cmv insurance claim. It doesn't work like a claim you might have on a personal auto. Let's just say their first priority is not your business or getting you back in a pre-claim state quickly. It's as though they figure since it's a business making the claim, no actual person is being harmed by the excessively slow process. Meanwhile, you have customers that need service and bills to pay.

That said, I'd have stood back and watched it burn. I'm not going to risk someone else's life and safety to avoid an insurance claim.

I can't replace my truck for what insurance will give me. So ya I'll buy some hoses.

That is a good point. I was thinking about my truck and trailer specifically when i said that. As long as i didn't hit the steel connectors it shouldn't damage the hose.

I'm aware that it would be a long drawn out process. But I would let the thing burn to the ground. I can prove income and value of my rig and I have another truck to put on the road while it's getting hashed out. Actually have less in the rig than what it's worth so burn baby burn lol

The worse part about it is that insurance companies say my old truck can be replaced for 10 to 15 grand. I've owned this truck since the day it was new, i could never replace it with a truck that is in the same condition for what they would give me.

Funny story a guy posted in here one time that his father's truck had caught fire but it got put out. And now they were trying to sort thru some electrical gremlins, explained some of that, then asked for help what they should do. Someone commented they should kick the ### of whoever came along and put the fire out. Lol

Sounds like a story my Grandad used to tell. Him and a buddy were riding around in the country having a few beers, came up on a car burning on a gravel road. They got out going to try and put it out, guy standing in the woods said, hey that's my ### fire, If y'all want one go build your own !!!
