I thought about 62 also. It's not like we can pass alot of ppl at 64. I just thought autos got the best mpgs but yall proved that wrong.

Also...anybody add any aftermarket parts to your trucks? I saw a driver in CR the other day with aftermarket sun visors(I guess that's what you'd call them) on his doors. I also saw 2 trucks with blue led lights behind the cab. Looked pretty cool.

I'm trying super hard to get that .50 cpm! I got like 13,XXX miles last month (can remember exact number off the top of my head... Lower half of 13k.) I just want to do as good as I can in the areas I feel like I have some control over, like mpg. Which I have read once you go over 55 you start losing around .1 mpg per 1 mph. 62 mph seems like a good spot to maximize miles and get an above average mpg score.
...that's not to mention i get to places a little later, so it feels like I sit less... Plus I can bump it up to 64 if I ever need to pass someone... And all the traffic congestion slowly pulls away from me, so I use the brakes less... It's like everything gets better when I go 62 lolLast edited: Sep 17, 2016

Makes sense. It would just be the initial shock of going slower that would take some time getting use too. Dispatchers do our trips on 55 mph or atleast Ashley does.

So... Reading through the posts here, there seems to be a list of places to fuel and not to fuel? I've just been fueling at any old pilot or flying j but nobody has said anything (I mean I do a little of my own due diligence and only get what I need). Maybe I've just been luck and getting it right lol. Where do I obtain this list?

Never heard of a list. There's states but I've fueled in one of them before & never heard anything. My file probably has its own cabinet.

Minnesota & Wisconsin are on the no fuel states I know. You can't fuel in Fargo for sure but North Dakota is good. I think Nebraska is a no go too. Ive fueled in Nebraska & Wisconsin but only because I had no other choice.
