We used to have some friends here from up north and have a wii party on Friday nights. They had to move back to jersey though.

Eh if you're insane enough thats can still happen. I had 2 friends come over with there desktops and played with me and my roommate when borderlands 2 came out.

I never liked split screen. It was always to small for my liking.

We used to break in to the computer lab during lunch hour in highschool and play a ripoff of Worms and Freeciv over the school's LAN Network.

DOS was obsolete by the time I got into school. Our home computer had DOS and Windows 3 though. I still remember enough that I can find my way around DOSBOX without having to run to Google every 2 seconds lol.

Probably a system that was a first in graphics was the turbos graphics. I remember the football game was played through the eyes of the quarterback. Awesome for its time but never took off.

Symphony of the Night is the very definition of a true timeless classic game. I've got it on my PS3 as a download, and still play runthroughs about twice a year. The soundtrack is phenomenal, and the storyline will stand up to (and generally beat) any of the current games available today.

It was the very first game I purchased for my old PS2 when it was a Sony exclusive.

Hitman and the entire Assassin's Creed series are all excellent games, especially for those of us who don't do online gaming. Great storylines, great gameplay, great challenges that make you actually think your way through. Splinter Cell is another great series for offline single player.

We used to play worms world party in school. Then a ww2 shooter before COD. (I don't think it was Metal of honor either. )

Basically any of our games had to be small enough that you could install them quickly as a restart of the computer would erase them.
