Better check again. The only way to get premium pay is to work both weekend days. My work week is Tuesday through Saturday. Haven't gotten premium pay yet. And this is not a DC to DC thing. Its corporate pay policy.

Both days must be worked. The computer automatically runs a report showing every driver under dispatch (or on some sort of downtime due to no loads ready, weather, mechanical delay, etc) for both days and then adds the weekend premium pay. You do not have to work an entire day either. You could be dispatched at 11:00pm on a Saturday night and come off the truck at 1:00am Sunday and the computer would still credit you for working both weekend days and pay the weekend premium.

Anyone can make a mistake. We all have. Never our best moment when we do. You own up to, learn from it, and move on with your head up. Takes guts to stand up and say, "look at this dumb thing I did today" we can laugh because all that's hurt is a little pride. On a positive note, you might've got a new C.B. handle there, "Gladhands"

It's ok. You learn from these things. Now you know, DONT BREAK YOUR ROUTINE! If you do, stop and start over. Best way to prevent it from happening again.
