Yea that is the terminology here. Also no unauthorized or illegally placed stickers obscuring my view.

"Now Mr. Instructor, please fasten your seat belt, which is not frayed and fastens securely and is properly adjusted... I want to try something I saw in a cartoon once."

SoDel, Lepton1, FerrissWheel and 2 others Thank this.

I took my test in an 84 S-series International, my tester said she wouldn't put on her seatbelt because it gets her uniform dirty.

Well, I am here at the hotel now. Very nice actually. Do have a roommate. He's cool as hell. Older Hispanic fellow, speaks perfect English with a slight accent. He is in his last week at the academy, already had his CDL when he came, rented a truck and got it. Swift sent him here to teach him shifting and Qualcomm/route planning etc. he's pretty much let me know what I am facing.

I'm a bit more comfortable with what's happening. Barring some sort of lab screwup or suddenly they aren't cool with my background check(that already went through investigations) I will be fine.

I guess I should do like everyone else and do the day by day CDL school journal. But I will save that for another thread.

Thanks for all the help fellas(and ladies with screennames that look like fellas). Look out for a Swift flatbed with a 40,000lb coil sitting inside of the cab of a Cascadia, after the 2 straps holding it broke. That'll be me.
