What's the next step after pretrip/road test? The physical and drug test? Then background check? How much time between the steps?

 

Pre-trip, road test, physical all on the same day. Then you sign a form to begin background check. Mine was started the very next day and completed the 2nd day. Had to give my notice instantly.

 

Yikes! That quick?? My husband has been anxious about the testing because it's been so long since he's had to do one, and I've been calm. Now I'm getting anxious lol. We have to relocate and there's no way I could get packed and move in two weeks!! Plus, my work requires a 30 day notice or pay $200 to get out of contract early (independent contractor). I thought I had read 30 days for background then got orientation date which could be 2 to 6 weeks out?

Just have your husband wait for the next orientation if they plan to have one the following month.

 

Fresh off the press depart group meetings next week to discuss the roll out of cameras!!! They are coming just no details also discussing tablets being tested to eliminate paperwork !!!

 

Peoplenet has an EOBR that is detachable for scanning and allows signatures for paperless function called Tablet. Wonder if they would consider changing from Qcomm? I love our peoplenet because it's mostly icon based.
