Spend the $350 and get your own. Plenty of brokers that will work with you. I only had less than a handful that made me wait 90 days or whatever.

    JimmyWells Thanks this.

There are several advantages to a seasoned authority, getting freight is one of the lesser ones. New authorities pay a hefty premium on their insurance for the first two years. Also, a new authority is a New Entrant in terms of CSA, with the requisite probation period and all that entails. Now, how much money those advantages are worth is certainly debatable, but there is value there.

that is totally untrue My first year in business insurance was the cheapest. The way insurance works is they look at annual averages for all companies. If they had a ton of claims the year before then it goes up if they had fewer claims it goes down. slightly. my second year everyone went up mine increased by $4,000 my second year and I had perfect record with no claims, no tickets, no out od service violations but didn't matter you are also a slave to what other companies had done thats how insurance companies make up for losses.

I can sell you mine- No equipment.
You'll get an mc number in the high 2 series- Book of business with spot and contract moves (Inbound and outbound (Midwest flat and van). And a 17 CSA score (Which is nearly perfect)

PM me if interested- I'd love to retire today.

I've only had a handful of brokers require 6-12 months of authority, most don't care. It's not that hard to set up and insurance isn't crazy. I'm paying $675 a month for a truck and trailer with progressive.

I think it will be fair to say responding to this thread wont do any good. The poster is a 2 post wonder. They make their posts, only to never post again. This is also the problem with responding to antique threads. While contributions may be relevant, the person whom would gain knowledge probably will never visit here again.

@stayinback obviously this post is a few months old, but if you still have an interest in retireing (assuming you haven't already) please advise a way to contact you, as I'm interested in your above offer.

    Regards
