You cannot use any appliance without the truck running. PITA to have to keep hitting the accelerator!

So, two days worth of awesome "this is why" driving... (I'll keep it short)

Yesterday morning, mountain drive from 5,100' elevation in Weed, CA to 1,100' elevation outside Redding, CA... WITHIN AN HOUR!!! ... thirty minutes and a few hills later 400' elevation.

Yesterday afternoon, driving I5 through all kinds of different fields from orchards to vineyards to vegetable fields... After swapped trailers in Stockton, I could not get back on CA99 due to bridgework... so the GPS routed my out of town to country roads five miles and then straight south to the truck stop where I was to park for the night. Again, all kinds of different Ag fields to survey and wonder things like "why do they plant trees in some fields at an angle", "why are some rows in some vineyards covered in plastic", "I wonder how long they use the trees before totally uprooting them and replanting like that field", "I wonder what veggies are growing there", etc etc etc

This morning, a lot of the same without the 4K drop... I still say that, for me, getting to drive and see so many different states and different environments of this country is one of the best benefits to the OTR Lifestyle.

Can't wait to share it with the wife whenever we finally decide when to team drive together. She would hop on today but, ya, Bills... LOL

If anyone in Richmond is interested. There is a classic car and truck show at the Hardee's on route 10.

Free, free at last, free at last!!! Left Richmond with a solo run to Riverside. It drops Wednesday, I'll be there Tuesday, as I travel along on this run, I'm doing something I haven't done in 6 months, I'm stopping and smelling the roses.
