I did a load last week where I signed off saying that an escort might follow me the first 250 miles to make sure the load was safe.
Can't make that crap up lol

Because some of the loads are valuable. I just hauled a 1 million dollar video game load. We also haul cell phones, electronics and Pharma loads.

I can understand the shipper and Schneider concerns. But pay me for Christs sakes!

I try my best to avoid them because they don't pay enough for the aggravation.

Well I was told the policy is for one driver to stay line 4, but I guess there's some wiggle room. My Ica told me cs got ahold of him and was asking why I wasn't on duty and he had to explain that the drivers were trying to conserve hours. Typical college cs mentality, they have no clue about driving.

From the start I said my goal was 6600 miles a week for $8,600 in Revenue.
    That's $1.30 all miles.
Or higher rate per mile on less miles.
$1.30 is not high lofty goals dude lol.
I have been able to hit $1.30+ each week I've been out.

I'm not in a governed truck dude 65mph average is not difficult, especially out in the middle of nowhere. Sometimes we averaged faster than that.
We both know most the loads here are drop/hook. That helps out a lot and we need all the help we can get lol

    That's stupid.
How are you supposed to take your 30 min break when one must always be on duty?
Wake up your codriver and put them on duty? Then they won't get their 10 hours sleeper/off duty combo in order for them continue driving lol.

    Makes no sense.

I just booked a 300 mile load going past my house.
Done this load like 5 times when I was solo.
Guess they randomly will throw stuff on team side that can't get covered.

    Philly1Finest Thanks this.
