The 8 inch rand McNally tablet

How do I update it ? I click check for updates in settings and it doesn't do anything.

 

Check in road Atlas towards top right

 

Mark knows alot about this he checks on this every so often helped me with a issue I had

Nope - Main screen go to the 9 squares in the upper right/Rand McNally Launcher/Check for Updates.

If nothing happens you are up to date.

Is there anyway to make rest areas show up in the Exit Poi list ? I'm talking about the icon you click that shows services on upcoming exits. it would be nice if I could click that button and it would tell me how far the next rest area is. It is kind of a pain having to use truckers path instead of just being able to click the icon and see how far until the next rest area.

I had the Garmin DEZLCAM and must say it was much more user friendly.

 

Is there anyway to add custom POIs to the TND tablet 80 ?

Hi guys i read too many things in this thread but i still cannot find the answer for my problem. I just did the update on my TND 80 and when i'm trying to strat TRUCK GPS says "Unfortunatately, Truck GPS has stopped". And leaves me to press only OK there is no anymore way to press WAIT and continue to operate. I will appreciate your help.
