The tech doing my 90 day asked how many miles on my truck and if a brake job recently. I told him almost 319k and those are the original brakes. Why do ask? Said that I have #### good brakes on my truck for 319k. I said, well, I actually use my jake brake 95% of the time.

Actually there they have signs up stating to park on the street then walk your bills up to the office. I delivered there to take home time and of course the signs are all small and hand written lol.

Yeah I had a load the other day, something like 11:45 on my 70 when I started the day and 690 miles to go. I worked in the split break to access the the additional time for the 11 hours portion of the summary. I made it ontime but my 70 did run out up against the docks. Slow roll across the street to a Burger King which had 3 trucks parked and only 2 truck parking spots. Luckily the one guy was leaving so I eased into his spot. Next morning eased across the street for a washout and drop back at the customer and bobtail couple hundred miles to take care of a preload another driver fell off of over a breakdown.

They have a Western Star 5700ex here at the yard. JCT is considering getting some. Which means if they get some and offer me one, that's going to be one hell of a decision for me because I love the way the truck looks.
