so I know we have all heard the horror stories about CR England but I'm considering them on because of the 8 month contract with them, 8 months shouldn't be bad right ? I know about the low wages but for a 22 with no kids and ole lady to nag me would it be a bad idea to consider.. and lets just say I go thru the training get my license and then give them the finger how would that make me look as a driver I just know the OTR experience will be valuable to have I just need any opinions

Lots of better place to get your start IMO. But I've never worked for them or any other mega for that matter. But if you wanna give it a go and stick it out more power to ya. I'd shop around a bit if it was me.

I've never worked for them either but all the horror stories on here would be enough to make me steer clear. I enjoyed working for roehl as a starter. Millis also has lots of good reviews. There are plenty others but those are the two training Megas that I would suggest.

As far as getting your cdl then bailing... I guess that could work but you will owe them money and in my opinion, it is just a very unprofessional way to do it.

You should be able to find a decent enough company to stick with for a year. Just my opinion.

CRE has pretty decent equipment, but that's as far as I'd go. It's really hit and miss as far as the quality of training you're apt to receive. I'd also check around before choosing one.

    Pnwtrucker Thanks this.

CR England has one of the best training facilities in the country. You should definitely sign up and start your career with the greatest company in the lower 48.
