FYI - Everett Roehl started Roehl. So you saying everyone that has a surname that isn't spelled exactly the way it's pronounced should change their spelling?

Back on track with the OP's question, Roehl is a great place to start. They train you well. They treat you well.
Yes, if you come there with your CDL and no experience then you are under contract for 75K miles. Get your CDL through them and it is 125K miles. It took me less than a year to get to 125K.
Roehl is a great place to learn the trucking business. JMHOPizzaGuy805 and Ooops Thank this. -

Back in CDL school the Roehl recruiter came to see us and was such an unbelievable butt head I tuned him out. Got all worked up when someone asked why on Earth anyone would sign a contract to get what any number of other companies gave for free. Then one of the instructors asked me...uh, this other someone...to go get a big, steaming mug of shut the hell up. I understand the Rolling Rail no longer recruits from there.

Bottom line is: If you do your due diligence before hiring on with a company, 6 months to a year is not a long time. Job hopping will limit your choices. It takes 6 to 9 months to settle into any job. Stick it out and you will be rewarded. JMHO

I did their school 8.5 years ago. Roehl (rolls over every hill last) is a great place to start but that's it. They are a smaller jb hunt. They think that you can never find a better driving job then them. They tell you where to fuel and run you #### miles. Maybe avg 2000-2400 if your lucky. New trucks usually only 63mph but they have nice home time. 11 out 3 home. Big on safety and get mad as ### when you idle.
