This is there service area map pulled off there website, I've driven by on accident there drop yard in Twinsburg, Ohio which would be Cleveland, so I know it exists so that leads me to believe they have yards where they have dots. I do not know where there actual yard, is in Kentucky, but I will launch an investigation and try to find out.

I mean look how far they go the whole state of Kentucky?? and West Virgina? There warehouse isn't anything special trust me it's not some big mega super warehouse like GFS Springfield, it's a small little place that has enough parking for like 15 trucks. I can't believe and won't believe they do the entire state of PA from there Pittsburgh lot, I mean I guess it's possible, but that seems like an awful big stretch to me do they have a sales rep and truck running around Philadelphia? I don't know.

I was catching up on this thread. Haven't read any of it since page two. My oh my do these things get derailed lol.

As for RDP. I delivered to them a couple times with my old job. I don't remember seeing any dollies in their yard. It's your basic food warehouse to deliver to. Show up. Pay lumper. Get unloaded. On your way.

One time I showed up a few hours early and asked if they could work me in. He said. If you want a lumper you'll have to wait till your appointment. But if you want I'll give you a door and you're more then welcome to break it down yourself. So I did that since I was already a little familiar with the vendor's item numbers. That and it was only a few pallets.

So I'll give it to them for that. At least they let me use a door early. They didn't seem like bad people there in the warehouse.

Any of you guys ever been to slice of Columbus? I guess RDP sponsors it and it helps the Columbus children's hospital, we have a Pizza Fest up here in Cleveland, but I fear it's not as good and pretty second rate.

So anyhow today winter arrived, but that's okay I was busy doing other things, as @road_runner has said it's always a good idea to think about your own mortality. So in that spirit I went to the grocery store (Heinen's) and bought some string cheese, sausage, ricota cheese and some pizza dough and made some Stromboli's. I found out Heinen's sells fresh pizza dough with there Italian specialties and so I bough a couple 16oz to try out and quality wise there much better then Pillsbury I have tried and tried, but I can't make pizza dough for crap, and I'm always hunting for pizza shops to buy and if I ever bought one and wanted to change something about it the dough would be the first thing and that's something I would need help with. Luckily RDP Food Service has corporate chef who could help me develop a recipe.

However, I'm just practicing right, now but I managed to make 2 really good Stromboli's I've been doing a real good job with the other associated pizza products. Actually this year the quality of pizza goods I've been manufacturing at home in my opinion has gone up quite a bit and these Stromboli were restaurant quality, if I put them in a pizza box you would have thought they were restaurant made.

Sometimes I think maybe it wouldn't be bad to go back into business someday if the circumstances were correct. Actually best case senerio and it's defiantly nothing that I can accomplish right now, but best case senerio is if I can work for Gordon's, but own my own business buy a place that is already established and hopefully kind of runs it's self as far as the day to day work goes and have both that would be best, but that's kind of out of reach at this point.
