Kansas City...that's different. I've never been to that Peelot (didn't know they had one there), so it has to be newer that absolute garbage Flying Hook. Theres that extremely tight truckstop in Olathe that he would never be able to fit in.
Well, the only other place for a trailer that size is the eastbound weigh station near Olathe. I wonder where exactly in KC that load delivers to.

Do you remember the first time you saw a Wendy's or a Carl's Jr. inside a truck stop?
Its common now, but it was such a shock back then to see it...passingthru69, snowman_w900, MJ1657 and 2 others Thank this. -

Yeah, something like that. The TA is at the same exit, but to the other side of the interstate. They got rid of the separate fuel building.
Pilots are the the bottom of the barrel big chain.snowman_w900, MJ1657 and johndeere4020 Thank this. -
Th ta is at 58. Headed there now. Pfj is where my company is wanting us to fuel now so I'm kinda stuck with them. They get 12 cents off per gal on the cash price. They're actually still loosing cause I saw an indy along the way here in mo at $1.99 per gal. Pilot was $2.19
PeteyFixAll and snowman_w900 Thank this. -

Yep. I'm kinda opposite a lot of guys on here though. I fuel where I can consistently get a decient shower. I know there are some nasty pfj but most of them are pretty clean inside. Plus being able to get in line for a shower on the phone app saves me a lot of time standing around in the store waiting for my turn.
With the indies I have no idea what I'm in for. The nastiest shower I've ever seen was an independent in up state ny. I ended up walking out and not showering that night. Then the nicest cleanest shower was I 55 truckstop in chicago. So I mostly just go with what I know will be decent. -
Things could be much worse. You could be working for one of those megas, with terminals spread all over. And theyd route you through their terminals for fuel, and use a shower that had 300 people through there since the last cleaning.
Orangees, Lepton1, Dye Guardian and 5 others Thank this.
