Except its likely that same leo had been told by his boss to stay writing tickets cause idiots keep parking where they shouldn't. He should feel lucky he just got a ticket. In my town if you park in a shipping plaza your get towed within minutes. We don't want our parking lots smelling like urine and don't want to step over pepsi bottles filled with piss and bags of feces. And while obviously not every truck driver is a pos, enough of them are its better to not let the trucks park in town.

I'm sure there's rules on how tall the grass can be .... And no clothes lines etc.....
But you can have an ar15 and don't have to back down to anybody.....
But I digress ..... Sorry. -
spyder7723, Scott72, freightwipper and 4 others Thank this.

Nobody has a lawful right to park on anybody else's property without permission so how can you compare owning an AR 15 to someone being forbidden to park on private property. Everyone has the right keep and bear arms if they choose. Doesn't mean they have too but it is a right, parking on private property is by permission only.
Maybe FW should just park in your front yard whether you'd like it or not.Home_on_wheels Thanks this. -

Wow.. the whole sign thing is still going on.
If the intention of whomever put the sign up was to not allow Tractor Trailers, RVs, Bobtail trucks, Box trucks etc etc there is a sign for that!
Say how about one of these
That sign covers all that pretty much.
The signs that were posted at the walmart were specific to certain types of vehicles. Big difference or at least I see it that way.Last edited: Nov 21, 2016

And it should be a recognized difference as far as safety goes. Driving a tractor alone and a tractor trailer together are entirely two different experiences. Now, if we're talking about no overnight parking because they are scared of nasty truckers dirtying up the place, that's a different story and there's a sign for that also. As I understand it you were shopping at Walmart. Some 0/0's bobtail their tractor for personal use, and this shouldn't be an issue.freightwipper Thanks this. -
When in doubt, check with management. Problem solved.
TennMan Thanks this.
