Ok, thanks. So when they ask on the apps CDL #? Endorsements? - should I answer yes, I have those now, or just put no for right now?

If you're in a situation where you can get the endorsements before graduation, just put you have them of if there's a comment section, put "Endorsements in process."

Do not get your TWIC and passport before being hired if you want to be reimbursed.

My only complaint with tanks is downtime. On average I arrive 16 hours before my delivery appointment. Subtract the 10 hour break and that is around 30 hours per month sitting around.

So only 1hr per day, much less waiting than I experience doing dry van/reefer.

Sometimes when we are slow on my dedicated, we run additives to Conoco Philips in Cicero Illinois. They unload by appointment but they are always punctual and unload within an hour. Used to have minor delays when hauling lubricants to oil distributors but nothing like I ever experienced pulling vans and reefers.

Ok. So I graduate tomorrow. Plan to get my x tanker hazmat endorsements started after graduating. As it stands, I have held off on applications except to Paul (flatbed) and ctl (tanker). Paul talked like they could get me in sometime early in Jan. Ideally , I want to take my time somewhat and apply to a few more flatbed companies and tanker companies. Right now, ctl wants me to come in for orientation for ctl tanker "short haul" --does anyone know any info on the short haul position? (Can't find much info) Any recommendations on that? I would rather be out otr I think. Should I jump on the short haul, or go as planned and apply to more companies and take the best offer? Ctl seems to want to get me on orientation next week.

Are there companies that do long haul on tankers? I don't want the home time. I want to spend as much time out as possible. Also how much physical work is there? Can a not very strong woman do it?
