I'd say your current avatar is very fitting.

If you have something in mind, save your sanity and act on it.

I see no reason why anyone needs to be miserable, as we have all sorts of niches in this industry to fit all manner of people.

Like I said, right now even the meager miles I am getting here beats 0 miles going thru orientation and similar miles once I am on the road after an orientation, this close to the holidays at least. Plus between now and the end of the year my wife's medical expenses cost us $0 after our premium is deducted each pay. Her perscriptions alone are in the hundreds with coverage. One of her meds alone w/o coverage is something like $20+ per day(Lyrica has no generic and she takes 40mg/day). Without any insurance the perscriptions will run us more than the average local driver makes in a week...after the new year we are trying to time it so she has all her perscriptions filled close enough to us getting our income tax refund which will cushion the lack of income and medical coverage while I switch jobs.

Talk to her doctor about to see if they can give her samples to get you thru the transition period. My wife is insulin dependent and that's what her doctor did. He was only allowed to give her 2 vials at a time but she just drove by the doctors office and picked up 2 vials whenever she needed them.

I'll have her check. Some of her meds shouldn't be a problem, but as expensive as Lyrica is, I'm not too sure how generous he can be...although he should be. My insurance's payments alone have probably paid off several of his cars and/or a vacation home or two.

Check with a local pharmacy my meds are a couple hundred but my doctor sends me to pharmacy where I pay zero copay even though my copays add to over 800 a month.

She checked when I 1st started at Magnum...she about passed out when they told her how much it was without insurance. The best deal we could get was some kind of Blue Cross discount card that cut 10%...

I'm sure Poly would love to have you back, they retook a degenerate like me back into the fold after I had to leave for a bit. Things haven't really changed much here as of yet besides the extra day added to trips which I have figured out a work around for most of those. Find a truck that doesn't break down on you and you should be golden:). I only had to go through about 2.5 days of orientation since I had done it before and they cut me loose so wouldn't be too much down time. Best of luck to you where ever you head to.

Ya know what? #### JBS Beef in Colorado with a rusty claw hammer.
I delivered in Denver yesterday evening. I actually got the load there 13 hours early because they were desperate for that chicken.
My dispatch told me to head here as soon as I was empty to pick up a preload.
8 1/2 hours later I get my trailer. AFTER they made me go get my empty washed out because it had a 4 inch long piece of pallet stuck between the floor ribs.
Even the guy at the washout place said it was clean. He knocked the wood out with a hammer, sprayed the hose into the back and sent me on my way.
