Looking to getting some info on the Shoe Carnival DSH Flex account. Been talking to recruiter and was leaning towards DSH because of consistent weekend home time, miles and higher pay. However, after thinking about it I'm wondering if this is back breaking work. I'm starting to rethink a Regional position might be better for me. I'm in St. Louis.

My cousin does a shoe acct and hotel paid every night home on weekends and great pay loves it. Left a 80k Lance driving job for it. South East not much work. Now not sure which acct it is.

Just trust me unless you like mandatory uniforms, way to strict grooming and I mean just a basic short goatee or mustache is it point blank. There is more but I would not do Averitt.

Well uniforms and the grooming dont bother me. I might feel different a year from now. Really just looking to get some experience under my belt. Wanted to do Schneider, but my pops is in home hospice and since Averitt is not too for away from me and can get me home every weekend that was a deciding factor.
This is a career change job for me, so I'm still learning the business. But getting back to the topic, I don't want to be unloading 1000 pairs of shoes every day.

Look into tankers a lot of money to be made regionally from Trimac. I'm not really up to it today my brocke.jaw is giving me a fit. @Chinatown can hook you up.

Yeah, I looked into that. Would not mind going that route(no pun intended) either. After I get 6 months or a year i may try that.

I'm not sure which chain it is and can't call him right now but any should pay very well.

I'm still leaning toward going Regional since it is quoted as being 90% no touch.
