Congradulations

They had a very nice spread as far as appatizers go lots of breads, and this delicious garlic butter that I ate to much of and meats, they had the party at the OMNI William Penn Hotel in down town Pittsburgh,PA extremely nice venue really 5 star, we had chicken with beef filet and asparagus and potatoes and dessert was this delicious lemon cake and this dark chocolate thing with raspberry in the middle.
That's the banquet room on the 17th floor where we had our meeting. There must have been 200 people there if not a tad more 82% turn out.

 

On my way out I ran into a newer guy said he had been with GFS 2 months or so just started as a broadline driver out of the warehouse in Pittsburgh, I asked him if he had done downtown Pittsburgh yet, he laughed and said "No thank God." When I got off the highway near the William Penn Hotel, I thought OMG what an absolute pain to work down here, I had night mares of scary loading docks and low clearances.
The parking garage where I parked my car, almost didn't have enough clearance for me to get in and out, it was scary I was like ducking down in my seat driving through the garage looking for a spot to park.

 

The drivers door has a nice crinkle in the metal at the top of it, I don't know what that's about, but it does cause water to get into the cab when it rains. I'm the fourth guy to have this truck so who knows.

 

I checked my voice mail today and I guess our team winning division team of the year is a very big deal because transportation seldom and I mean seldom wins division team of the year that is not really a transportation award so that's a really big deal.

 

I did find out today from a veteran driver, I do get a bonus with money for earning Gold Club put into my 401K when profit sharing hits the 401K. The bonus is in the 5 digits so I'm told, so that's way good.
