Foreign workers are killing industry two ways. Working for nothing and by killing off Canadians one by one in winter accidents when they can't stay on their side of the line.

We have the same problem here in the Lower 48 America. It is one of the factors leading to my decision to halt college work. Any hairball from India can come here on a worker visa a while, go back home with skills provided by the greater country on earth to awe his countrymen

It is easier to try and get out of Debt, living quietly and you are literally free. I don't think for a moment that such Carefree Freedom that gets exercised outside of the authroized wire is permissible by those in power.

    /sarcasm.

The gentleman that lost his life last week in marten river was the one on the proper side of the road and yet the ones who crossed the line lived. How many Canadians have to die before someone in power ends this madness. Sad to say but the only way I see this changing is if the prime ministers close family ever gets killed by a foreigner

There are days where I just want to say screw it and collect welfare for a while. Heck with the amount we've all paid into it, I think we're entitled to take a year's vacation every decade lol.

Nope. He'll just say they had a rough upbringing and offer to send the perp signed selfies and free money to help with their pain and suffering.

I saw the news report on that. It didn't give any details but the driver that was killed was eastbound on HWY1 and it happened at the HWY36 intersection in thick fog. I assumed that the truck crossing #1 on #36 pulled out in front of the east bound. Looked like one truck T-boned the other mid trailer so it would explain 1 dead, other uninjured. If that is, in fact what happened, another case of the innocent dying and the guilty walking away. Regardless, it's sad.

Early reports were stating it was a rear end collision, which didn't fit the damage I saw when I drove by a little later. I figured the one truck went across the highway in front of the other one. And I knew the driver that died in that accident. Saw him the evening before looking for a load.
