You simply just want to jump into a job market where you basically are at the bottom of the hiring range, ie, no GED and lack of work for 8 years.
Start at square one... get your GED...
This is Swift
Social Security Number
- Home address history for the past 3 years
- Current drivers license number and drivers license history for the past 3 years
- Employment history up to 10 years.
- History of traffic accidents, violations, and / or convictions from the last 5 years (including DUI or reckless driving convictions and license suspensions)
- Criminal history
- Military history (if applicable)

+1 for swift
I know someone who didn't have a diploma or ged and just came off 2 years Unemployment and started out at swift.. Im pretty sure companies don't check as long as you check yes on app.. I have a diploma and it has never came out of a box since leaving high school. Not encouraging anyone to lie on application.. I'd send out apps to all of em that train, one of em got to pick you up, I'd give up on em paying you during school tho. Save some money to support yourself till you get a trainer.. good luck.. -
You need to take a good look at yourself before you post that brand of ignorance bud. And last time I checked they are all kinds of companies that hire felons.
But no just a misdemeanor or two on me from nearly a decade ago -
Q, Pam has its issues but it might be the best opportunity for now. My neighbor drives for them regionally and I see his truck parked most every weekend. As far as the GED I think you should look into getting this taken care of and I think you'll be glad you did.

Follow through with C-1 and then plenty of companies will hire you. Even if PAM pay is low, it's a start to a real lucrative future. PAM isn't a lifetime commitment so in a few months you can find something better because you'll then be qualified for dozens of companies.
