Several tanker companies hire fresh grads, but I didn't list them because he wants to take his wife along. I only listed companies that allow the wife to ride.
These hire new grads right out of school:
CTL Transportation
Trimac Transportation
Schnedier Bulk
Superior-Carriers
Tidewater Transit
McKenzie Tank Lines
SVTN
Girton Propane Service
About to sign up for Greenville Tech's program. Need guidance.

I wasn't aware that superior or tide water would take new drivers. Thought they wanted 3 yrs.

Also check Old Dominion Freight Lines website; probably a terminal near you. They hire new cdl grads that have doubles and hazmat endorsements. -
You guys would make decent money if your wife got her cdl too. You don't have to run 24/7 you could do a super solo situation.

I went and talked with the management of Superior Carriers the other day. They were really nice guys, and their compensation package was pretty impressive. I'd be interested to know what other companies are competitive. I dont think they are for me though since it's OTR (only a few local jobs for the senior truckers) and I couldn't take my wife with me. -
Check with premier. They run tanks, out and back mostly
insipidtoast Thanks this. -

They are out of Greenville. Ken fields owns it. They are off of white horse road. IDK if it's premier tank lines or what. You can also call the cashion company in fountain inn. That's where ken worked before he started his own company. They run out and back. They use to pay by the hour, for every hour you were gone.
Cbp Thanks this.
