There was a guy on here a couple of months ago who had an entire thread about how bad he had been treated, and then ended up deleting it after the owner of the company threatened him. Kudos to you for not kowtowing to such coercion.

Yanke was bought by Celadon about 3 years ago. Is now operated under the Hyndman name after Celadon bought Hyndman Transport.

This thread is about Yankee Freight Systems out of Alsip, not Yanke from Canada. 2 completely different companies.

This is a trucking forum. Why are we talking about baseball? And they are from NY!

Alot of drivers end up selling themselves short by not taking the time to take a good look at the company they applying for
... The end result is having to put more job history on their applications which in turn destroys their chances at landing prime jobs in the trucking industry
.... I feel bad those who don't learn this valuable lesson and become recognized as job hoppers merely by taking a look at the 10 yr job history section of their application
.... I know this is easier said than done, especially for rookies trying to earn their stripes on OTR operations, TRUTH IS : there is big disadvantages of being hundreds of miles away from home and in the hands of a pheable minded dispatcher or those who will deliberately diminish a driver's mentallity ( dumb you down)

Wise drivers will protect every aspect of their career and will get maximum effect out of their efforts and investment

I have accidentally come across this thread and I was really surprised after reading it. I am driving for the company for almost 2 years now and never had any problems, also I just can't believe that you were getting 2000 miles a week, there is absolutely no way, and even if you did then it was a problem with you probably, if you are late at the pickups or deliveries, or don't know how to do paper logs, and if you are ############ and complaining you will not get miles anywhere. In all the time driving for them I don't remember ever being less then 3200 miles a week, and also the owner is a really really honest guy. So I'm sorry but I'm just not buying your story after experience that I had with them in the past 2 years.
