I was looking at them, but they want a 1 year contract when you already paid out of pocket and get your CDL elsewhere?

That's not what my research shows. They take essentially 3 types of drivers. 1) student, no experience, no CDL. 2) Experienced, CDL with 2 years of recent OTR. 3) In-Between, CDL with 2 years OTR, but not recent. As I understand it you only sign a 1 year contract if you are #1. You can walk away from that 1 year contract by paying the cost of their school, $3500. That cost is a real bargain. Most CDL schools charge 2-2.5 times that amount.

So they do not take anyone who went through a private CDL School, 160 hours, but have no experience at all?

That's not true. I'm not out of school yet and I've been offered a start date when I graduate.

What happened to the KWs they just brought in? Are they going to LTO?

I was a student driver and I had called where they wanted me to sign a contract to commit if they do the training. Said I'd think about it. Then when I called back a month or so later they decided they didn't want me anymore. The recruiter was sort of rude as well.

That's how I understood their explanation in August. Someone in this thread is reporting otherwise. I'd call and ask them the question.
