LOL! Notice his very few posts...
Anyway, to answer your original post...did you try checking for cracked fuses? It happens all the time. And from your initial post with the truck starting immediately right back up sounds just like a cracked fuse. Check the PDM under the hood towards the wheel well, driver side. Do you have a battery quick disconnect? Sometimes those contacts just go bad after being used for a long while.
As far as the leaky fuel, it happens. Usually to check for leaks, I like using soapy water and spraying with a spray bottle on the hi pres lines and checking for bubbles--just like I would do with air leaks. It could be the feed lines that are usually brown color. Pin hole leaks. It happens.

Even though this thread is almost 2 years old now. lol.
Random shut off was due to a shortage inside the powernet box. The small black box on the firewall there is a bunch of wires running into. Had to order a new one directly from manufacturer. Its not something the dealer typically has on hand.
Fuel leak was the biggest pain on the ###. $0.50 crush washer on a fuel line that wraps behind the engine. Took 5 hours to fix. only way to it was to rip almost everything off the top of the engine. $600 in labor for a $0.50 part.
Truck is long gone now. Biggest mistake was buying that one.GameDayDog and thodges Thank this. -
I don't know if it's my fuel filter or lose wire. Engine light is not on...but my mal light is.77fib77 Thanks this. -

The master shut off didn't work, actually shutting it off (I found out it was shut off by someone somewhere),made it happen much less often.
Lease company had the part but would have robbed one if they hadn't.
Truck acted like it was possessed, told them I wanted to play 'Shout at the Devil' when it was acting up.
Oh, also did it while idling. Fix took 2 hours, working fine, now. -
Cracked fuses is usually the easiest to check--which is why I suggested it first. I've seen it happen multiple times.thodges Thanks this. -
must be checked PNDB not PDM .
check to see fuses are ok inside, check cables on PNDB. check to see LED light is on on PNDB and Power disconnect switch. Now little secret. Check to see your CB radio reset settings after random shut offs. The CB must be connected to original power line. So if CB reset settings then disconnecting happens right there at/in PNDB. CB's 12v power comes straight from PNDB. You can connect bulb on CB power line and monitor it. PNDBs are different for cascadias. If your truck does not have Power disconnect switch the problem will be in different area..jammer910Z, PermanentTourist, driverdriver and 1 other person Thank this. -
x2 on PNDB. They were having problems with the fuses wiggling out. Putting something inside the cover to keep pressure on the fuses helped. Mhyn is spot on.
mhyn Thanks this. -

Hello cascadia Owners
My truck made me late for today's delivery. It was little foggy morning today in LA. I was heading east on I-210 (near Pasadena, CA) . I was driving and dreaming about good things when suddenly my horse started ######. The truck started randomly shutting off and immediately restarting. After 20-30 second of doing this the truck died. I managed to get off from heavy morning traffic to shoulder. Power was gone completely. I checked PNDB input wire and it had 12v. I had wires in my truck and shorted the input wire to 3 output terminals(1 hour job on shoulder). Power came back and I drove it back to the yard. From another truck took off PNDB and installed on my truck. Called the dealer and they said my PNDB costs $400 and it's a special order( means special junk installed on truck to make people suffer)..
I like to open failed parts to see why it failed. As we can see contacts are in good shape. I guess one of electronic component failed... My truck's odometer shows 612k now..ShortCircuit and RocketyMan Thank this.
