Linears: Tell me what I need to know before I buy

Funny thing is I have a radio on my dash that I can talk 30/35 miles with but most of the time having a normal conversation with someone about anything can be impossible...never had a opinion about the ham guys one way or another but their actually the coolest people to talk to some of them Will have you laughing so hard you think your gonna bust a gasket.. you can make a friend in 30 mins.

 

if you could care less you wouldn't have made this post. Obviously you care quite a bit about trying to discredit me. in regards to promoting a certain technician that has never been my agenda obviously you don't know me too well. my agenda has always been to motivate technicians to improve themselves and improve their skills and motivate consumers to demand more from their technicians regardless of who those technicians might be.
frankly I don't care who your technician is I just think that after seeing my 4 watt
radio do what it does, you should demand more for your money from whoever you decide to patronize.

 

Given the choice between a 350 watt radio That talks 30 miles or the exact same model of radio that talks 80 miles assuming both are the same price I would always choose the one that works the best but that's just me. As long as you're happy with it that's all that matters.

 

Dis credit you huh it's probably in your head to know how to build a better cb radio and a better cb antenna. .. but your too hung up on things that people don't care about or doesn't matter to them !!! I don't patronize any one tech or have a favorite tech.....and it's a 500 watt radio I spend my $$$ on what I want to. Just the same as you spend your $$$ on what you want to.....

 

You and mark should have a rabbi-sherman 595 or whatever on the market. .. and no I'm not making a joke....

 

I'm sorry that you need 500 watts to talk 10 miles less than my 4 watt radio.
I guess the most important thing is that you're happy with it.

Oh my god your a very mentally Ill person !!! I've never seen anyone so obsessed with anything in my life as you are with how far a cb radio can receive a incoming signal.... when nobody really cares at all... I'm the only one on here who listens or responds to any of this crap about this.... I blame a whole lot of the members on this forum for at least not having sent me a private message telling me about you and how far gone with this nonsense you are..... I've never felt sorry for anyone in my life as much as I feel sorry for you......I can't deal with insane people there's no help for them as there's no help for you......

 

Im still trying to figure out whether you two like each other or really despise each other, it appears as if its a love hate relationship, that you guys really thrive on the constant debating that goes on between the two of you, even though you both know that the other is never going to concede and see things your way. I would venture a guess that if you two were to meet in a truck stop resturant, not knowing who the other was, you would probably get along quite well, and still have your spirited debate, without all the name calling and personal putdowns because grown men dont behave like that face to face. You guys are like Ali vs Frazier, what round are we in now 5th or 6th.
