Man, I am nervous about this inspection. It's a new truck, well new to me. I've spent a lot of hours and money fixing and getting intimate with her. :p
I got a small air leak somewhere, it has given me headaches trying to find it, hopefully they'll be able to.

I had one... it was my air dryer. I carry a spray bottle with soap and water.

There is a woman in the inspection shop that has the best hearing I've ever seen! She found a leak that I darn near had to put my ear on to hear it.

    CJndaTruck and thaistick Thank this.

They show you (physically) everything that is wrong. I have never met an honest driver that has complained about the inspection. I've seen guys complain that they didn't think their cracked breaks were cracked enough. But cracked is cracked. And I can not complain about the prices. That new(ish) guy, Mike? Is supper cheap.

I am excited also to have a fresh pair of eyes on my truck. Just nervous I might be broke before i leave the yard. Lol.
I've never driven a truck more than a year old, now I'm gonna be rolling in a 2006 with 1.11 million miles.

I hope you read this thread. But an 06 with only 1.1 on it isn't bad. I came here with an 09. When I got rid of it a year plus ago I think it had 1.2 on it. But I had that truck from new too. I know how well I baby my trucks. I would be afraid of used. But that's me.

So I finally broke down and bought some new tarps. I like these, gonna baby them. 24x27 18oz black 8ft drops with 5 rows of d-rings. $830 delivered. I bought 1000' spool of black 550 cord as well to use instead of bungee. I'm gonna cut it in 50' lengths. I think I can be faster, more secure, easier on the tarps, and l99k better that way.

Anyone know where I can pick up some vinyl paint though?

    CJndaTruck Thanks this.

Sounds like you are ready to grab those better loads now. I hope you have lots of padding to go with them. Padding is kink.
