I've only delivered to the Stroudsburg area once, and that was the third part of a three part load. I hope never to go there again. Those little roads are tighter than... ummm... things that it would be inappropriate for me to mention.
Is millis transfer still a good company too work for

@Finalsomnia
How are u liking millis is it a overall good company -
I've said it before (in this thread, I think) that I do like them; I get paid accurately, I get home when I want, I have a dispatcher who knows my name and my truck doesn't constantly break down. This - as mentioned before - is the least exciting sector of trucking and won't make me as much as refrigerated, hazmat, tanker, or oversized loads (or, even better, refrigerated hazmat tanker oversized loads) but it's pretty good for what it is.

I had that song in my head all day today!Finalsomnia Thanks this. -
Anyone know how many trucks Millis has, and do they do hazmat?
-
Don't believe they do hazmat. I signed up for their cdl school and it wasn't mentioned as a requirement.
SESteve83 Thanks this. -
800-900 trucks (approx) and no hazmat that I'm aware of. Hazmat endorsement is not required on your license. -
No hazmat
General freight, beverage and paper products.
Looks like each truck has an average of 100, 000 miles a year.Last edited: Feb 15, 2017
