It's fine now. But I had a 3 door headache rack on here and had to be carful not to slide the 5th wheel to far forward or my trailer would hit it. I pulled a PO load and the trailer had a little handle on the front. Ripped a door off. When I was a regular flat I couldn't have any overhang.

Did anyone here buy a headache rack from the company store? If so, about how much did it cost? Do they sell used ones? We want a basic rack to hang our chains and binders with a tray.
Also, on the trailers that they lease, are the winches fixed or sliding? -
The trailers all have sliding winches.Chickadee Thanks this. -
We have a short wheelbase of 230 and actually ripped our old headache rack to ribbons once when we took a sharp turn when we were pulling a dry van once (we were doing flatbed, but the company asked us to pull a van once). Fortunately we didn't damage the trailer, but we had to take our headache rack off and never replaced it. I'll be happy to have one again, though, as it is a PIA to store the chains and binders in our tool boxes.

Thanks @CJndaTruck!

@CJndaTruck Are the winches just on the left side or on both sides?
-
-
Are there 12 on each side?

Chickadee Thanks this.

Oh man! We'll definitely buy at least 6 more then. Thanks for all the info
