Looking for a team job that's a little more long term in the DFW area and came across averitt they've been hiring for this position but give no info and not much more over the phone.
Was wondering if anyone knew the general breakdown for team shuttles like pay days off etc

Try teams with Old Dominion. Hard working teams can split $225K per year.

That's a good deal; great pay for drop & hook. Good luck.

$225k seems high unless they got a raise in the last couple years. Wife and I ran team for Estes nearly same pay scale. I know teams doing slightly over $200k. Estes hires teams in DFW area. LTL will keep you moving the best. All drop and hook lots of miles. It was nothing to run 6750-7000 miles weekly.

We ran dedicated in Dallas for a while big terminal lots of freight. Good people. LTL is not for everyone. You have to keep the left door shut as much as possible and run. There is no sitting around the lunch counter all day telling trucker stories. Usually 5 day work week. We averaged 6750 miles I would say a week in 5 days other than when we took a shorter mile bid run and worked 4.5 days a week. Nice trucks now, new kW big bunks. No more little bunk international 9200 with Cummins ism and no Jane brakes. The good ole days.
