    Atleast someone is getting it. Guess one needs to come from a smaller, less populated area to understand my point. Thanks LongFLD

    It's called Assimilating folks. Learn the word. Or not and you will have issues in your new area. That is my point. Has nothing to do with Obama, Trump or Bush.

    Suffice it to say I'm glad I'm not a Californian, what with all you Westerners disliking them. Lol.

    Mostly because of the fact they don't like to assimilate to the new area. It's like a cancer when they move to your area. Most of us "locals" don't care where or why you moved here just assimilate is all we ask. Look at the fine state of Texas. Would you move there if you were strongly against guns, Hispanics or Texans? No YOU should change, Not them.
    (Just a point folks, Just a point. I have nothing against Texans.)

    Well, maybe come across a lottle less gruff next time, at least a couple other people viewed your comment as a "not necessarily welcome" sign.
    I've been in the South Puget Sound area my entire 50 years, and I've watched the area grow exponentially, as you have...and it ain't gonna stop anytime soon. I'd just as soon leave Seattle to itself, thank you very much. I'm happy to stay in South Hill for now, and we have our own traffic problems.

    Lepton1 Thanks this.

    In case some have forgotten....The topic was about someone wanting to move from the east to Washington or Idaho and wishing advice about that subject. I, for one, would be happy to continue to extol the wisdom of that choice to any intelligent and open soul.

    Lepton1, 207nomad, nax and 2 others Thank this.

    @quatto

    I posted a similar response...but it was quickly deleted...Oh well...

    I hate to call out insinuators (and risk irking mods), but I whole-heartedly agree with your position.

    There is SOO MUCH WE CAN SHARE ON THIS FORUM....but people always bringing political bias into quality threads

    Toomanybikes, KillingTime and quatto Thank this.

    Back to the original topic... E Wa is an ok place to live but a little more liberal than N Id. They have higher wages than N Id. But pay higher sales and property taxes, Vehicle regisrations. So many topics to discus that we can go on and on. So you will need to bring up a topic and we will work it best we can.
