So you've been off pot for 6 months and because of that 6 months time, you think your safe enough to operate an 80,000lbs truck running 68mph, without the possibility of having an accident and testing positive unless they take hair samples?

If your concerned, your not ready

Excellent answer!! I would add that if there is any question in his mind if he can pass a drug test of any kind I don't want him driving a commercial vehicle of any kind on any road around innocent people.

Now with that said, I'm a recovering addict and alcoholic. I don't hide that fact. But, I waited years and years before I asked others to trust me on the road and I NEVER HID MY PAST!!!
@Chris1101 does PAM know about your past?

I would like to add the following:

Under perfect conditions, with an experienced alert professional driver, a loaded truck is nothing more than an 80,000lb missile with a less than perfect guidance system. Adding a delay until the guidance system reacts is ludicrous.

If your first question about trucking on ttr is about drug tests, I have my doubts.

Hmmm, 6 months ago you quit dope!
Just a few questions then we can get on with our regular scheduled profiling!!
Questions will be numbered for ease of understanding!
#1, how much pot did you smoke in school?
#2 , who's Pam urine and what does she have to do with this?
#3, if you shaved all your hair off! can they still do a hair tesr?< see what I did there?
#4 did you mean about? Or bout?

tscottme, not4hire and BIGZILLA Thank this.

If you actually knew anything about weed other than what you may have seen in Reefer Madness you might realize that if he smoked yesterday he'd be fine to drive today other than failing a test. Would you say he was unfit to drive if he drank alcohol yesterday? Truth is he'd be less likely to be fit to drive than if he smoked weed. As long as he's not high (or drunk) WHILE he's driving the world will be just as safe. And no, I don't smoke weed. In fact I just took a drug test yesterday. I'm just keeping it real.
