I fill out the recap every day, may not total the numbers up til later in the day but I will put the 7 days numbers in the slots for sure. like to know how productive I was in the last week. Also a good planning tool to see if I have the hours to run that 2200 mile off inthe 3.5 days they are asking me to.

For each of the last 8 days add up his Driving hours + On-Duty, Not Driving hours. For example, today is Friday. Add yesterday (Thursday), day before that, day before that, etc., etc, until you have 8 days. For each day you will have one number (Drive + On-Duty, Not Driving). Call that total 8 Day Total. 70 minus the 8 day total (above) is how many hours you have available to drive today. Each day you total the last 8 days, so the day farthest from today drops off the above calculation.
